The Sankofa BEFH & BSU Scholarship is a commitment to fostering educational opportunities and supporting the academic pursuits of outstanding students within the Black Student Union at Kansas State University. This scholarship program, funded by Black Entrepreneurs of the Flint Hills, aims to empower and invest in the future leaders and entrepreneurs of our community.
Number of Scholarships: Two (2) scholarships will be awarded annually.
Scholarship Amount: Each scholarship is valued at $1,000, providing financial assistance to deserving students.
Sankofa Meaning: Sankofa comes from the Akan people of Ghana. It is an Akan term that literally means, “to go back and get."

2.5 GPA
BSU Paid General body member
Community Service
Deadline: Jan. 6 , 2025
Winners will be notified by email the last week of January and awarded during Circle of Community Black Business Gala & Awards on Feb. 22nd 2025
